Rock relay teams garner two fifth-place finishes at Crimson Hawk Invitational
The 200-yard freestyle and 400 medley relay units recorded SRU's highest finishes in opening-day events Thursday
INDIANA, Pa. -- Rock relay teams recorded a pair of fifth-place finishes Thursday in opening-day events at the Crimson Hawk Invitational hosted by Indiana U. of Pa.

The 200-yard freestyle relay team of Raquel Woerner, Amanda Lancki, Merideth Grusek and Lauren Hervatin recorded a 1:47.86 time in their event.

Lancki, Grusek and Woerner teammed with Linsday Moyer for a 4:31.73 time in the 400 medley relay.

In individual events, Hervatin placed ninth with a 5:40.80 time in the 500 freestyle and Grusek was 12th in the 50 freestyle with a time of 27.25.

The Rock was in fifth place in the women's team standings at the end of the first day of competition.

The Crimson Hawk Invitational continued through Saturday in IUP's Memorial Fieldhouse pool.
