PITTSBURGH, Pa. -- Heather Walbright placed third in the 500-yard freestyle event Friday night to lead The Rock to a fourth-place team finish in the Carnegie Mellon Invitational.
Walbright's time in the 500 freestyle was 5:28.21.
Other highlights for The Rock included fourth-place finishes by
Beth Choike (1:05.07) and
Jessica Student (2:20.40) in the 100 and 200 backstroke, repsectively.
The host team won the team title with 592 points, followed by Youngstown State with 544, California (Pa.) with 449, The Rock with 268 and Lock Haven with 145.
