Rock falls to No.12 Michigan 21-5
Saturday's loss mark's the fifth straight for The Green and White
Slippery Rock, Pa. – Beth Choike recorded three goals on the day as Sarah Sander followed right behind with two goals, as The Rock fell to 12th ranked Michigan 21-5. The loss moves SRU to 0-2 in the Collegiate Water Polo Association Western Division, and 0-5 on the year.
 
Both schools would trade goals in the opening minutes of play as the score was tied two all at the 4:30 mark. The Wolverines would then go on scoring run that The Rock was unable to recover from.
 
Lauren Surbaugh recorded nine saves on the day before leaving the game midway through the third quarter due to injury. Betsy Wilson would replace Surbaugh in the cage and would record two saves on the day.

The Rock will conclude a string of three-straight Collegiate Water Polo Association Western Division games when it travels to Eire, Pa. for a game against Gannon University on Sunday March 9, at 5 p.m.
