SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. -- Rock standout Jaren DeBardelaben won both the 100-meter and 200-meter dashes Saturday to headline The Rock men's effort in the SRU Invitational at N. Kerr Thompson Stadium.

Debardelaben recorded a 10.63 time in the 100m race and had a 22.34 time in the 200m race.

His 100m time would have earned him a provisional berth in the NCAA Division II national championship meet had it not been run in wind-aided conditions.

Debardelaben was one of five Rock male student-athletes who claimed first-place finishes Saturday.

Other top finishes were recorded by , Terrece Draper in the triple jump (45-6.5), Nate Hardic in the javelin throw (193-3), Jason Jamieson in the 800-meter run (1:55.45) and Tim Tray in the pole vault (15-5.75).
