GROVE CITY, Pa. -- Sarah Sander and
Heather Walbright each scored three goals Saturday afternoon and
Beth Choike added two tallies to account for The Rock points in a 9-8 overtime loss to hosting Grove City.
Sander and Walbright each also had an assist and two steals, while Choike had an assist and three steals.
Betsy Wilson assisted on two goals and
Ashley Goodwill had an assist and a steal.

Lauren Surbaugh was credited with 11 saves and one steal.
The Rock held 2-1, 4-2 and 6-3 leads at the end of the first three periods of play before Grove City scored three unanswered goals in the fourth period to tie the score at 6-6 and force overtime. SRU held an 8-7 edge after the first extra stanza, only to see the hosts scored two goals in the final stanza to snatch the victory.
Saturday's loss dropped The Rock's overall record to 3-13 and its Collegiate Water Polo Association Western Division mark to 1-5.
The Rock concludes its regular-season schedule with a 9 a.m. game Sunday vs. the Indiana Hoosiers in the Morrow Field House pool.
