Nine recruits join Rock program
The list of new additions includes four all-state performers

SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. -- Veteran Rock head coach Laurie Lokash recently announced the addition of seven players to the Green and White roster.
The list of new additions includes four all-state performers and one transfer.
The following are thumbnail profiles of the newest members of The Rock program.
Lisa Bakaitis: A middle hitter from Avon Lake, Ohio (Avon Lake High School), Bakaitis earned first-team All-Southwestern Conference honors last fall. She plays club volleyball for the Southwest Volleyball Club, which is coached by former SRU All-America performer Jenny Howser.
Sarah Cadwallader: A Pennsylvania Volleyball Coaches Association all-state selection last fall, Cadwallader is an opposite from York (York Catholic High School) and plays for the Mizuno Yorktowne Volleyball Club.
Lindsay Franz: A defensive specialist from Oakdale, Franz helped lead West Allegheny High School to the PIAA Class AA state championship in 2006.
Alee Kromer: An outside hitter from Punxsutawney (Punxsutawney High School), Kromer earned PVCA all-state honors last fall.
Kristin Slavoski: An outside hitter from Bethlehem (Freedom High School), Slavoski is a three-time PVCA all-state performer and a member of the Xceleration club team.
Kaylee Smith: An outside hitter from Muncie, Indiana (Cowan High School), Smith earned ICGSA Class A first-team all-state honors last fall. She also plays for the highly touted Asics Munciana Volleyball Club team.
Caitlin Veling: An opposite from Indianapolis, Indiana (Hamilton Southeastern High School), Veling competed for the Indiana Volleyball Academy.
Katie Willison: A defensive specialist from Butler, Willison has been a solid performer for both the Butler High School and Odyssey Sports Volleyball Club teams.
Kim Wilson: A transfer from Glenville State (W. Va.), where she earned West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic Conference All-Freshman team honors as a setter, Wilson hails from Macomb, Mich.
The new additions join a Rock program that finished the 2007 season with a 22-15 record and finished fourth in the highly competitive Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference-Western Division. The Rock ended their season with a third consecutive berth in the NCAA Division II Atlantic Regional Tournament and looks to continue its winning ways in 2008.
