MANSFIELD, Pa. -- The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference women's field hockey game between Slippery Rock University and hosting Mansfield University, scheduled for Saturday, has been postponed due to unplayable field conditions.

The teams' coaches hope to find a mutual agreeable date of the game to be rescheduled, according to SRU Assistant to the Athletic Director/Senior Woman Administrator Pearl Shaffer.

The Rock is still scheduled to play Sunday at East Stroudsburg, Shaffer said.

SRU, which currently owns a 2-14 overall record and a 1-5 mark in PSAC games, travels to Mercyhurst for a conference game Wednesday before closing out its home schedule Oct. 24 with a 6 p.m. non-conference game vs. Bellarmine (Ky.).
