ERIE, Pa. – The Slippery Rock University volleyball team dropped a pair of Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference matches Friday and Saturday, falling 3-0 at Edinboro Friday evening and dropping a 3-0 decision Saturday afternoon at Gannon.

Edinboro earned a straight set win Friday night with scores of 25-19, 31-29 and 25-19.

Gannon also earned a straight set win Saturday afternoon, posting set scores of 25-18, 25-20 and 25-13.

The Rock was led by sophomore Kaylee Smith with six kills on 32 attempts and two aces. Sophomore Alee Kromer added five kills. Junior Anna Bixler led the team with 11 assists and added six digs. Senior Stacey Domer led The Rock with 16 digs.

Gannon led in every category in the contest and improves to 18-6 overall and 9-4 in the PSAC.

With the losses, Slippery Rock drops to 7-18 overall and 3-10 in PSAC play.
