SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – The Slippery Rock University volleyball team fell 3-0 to California (Pa.) on Saturday at Morrow Field House. The Rock has lost four-straight matches in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference.
Slippery Rock (6-14 overall, 2-6 PSAC) lost the three sets 25-19, 25-15, and 25-20. California improves to 17-4 overall and 8-0 in the PSAC.
Sophomore outside hitter Kaylee Smith led the team with nine kills and 14 digs. Junior setters Anna Bixler and Kim Wilson both had 10 assists and three digs. Wilson also added two aces. Senior defensive specialist Stacey Domer added nine digs and a team-high three aces.
The Rock returns to action Friday at West Chester to face Cheyney. The match starts at 2:30 pm.
