Matt Grey and Brian Ulrich each earned All-PSAC honors to lead The Rock to a seventh-place finish at the PSAC Championships

EDINBORO, Pa. – The Slippery Rock University men’s cross country team finished seventh at the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Championships Saturday at Edinboro University.
The Rock tallied a team score of 211 points. Lock Haven won the title with a score of 39 points, followed by Edinboro with 53 and Shippensburg with 73.
Slippery Rock placed two runners in the top-20 to earn All-Conference honors, led by
Matt Grey, who finished fifth. Grey covered the 8,000-meter course in a time of 26:39.
Joining Grey in earning All-League honors was
Brian Ulrich, who finished 16th with a time of 27:04.
Eric Geddis placed 51st with a time of 28:27 and was followed by
Jon Snowden in 81st with a time of 29:34 and
Rogers Clements in 86th at 29:49 to round out the scorers.
Slippery Rock will travel to Mansfield for the NCAA Atlantic Regional Championships next Saturday, Nov. 7.
