NILES, Ohio -- Monday's scheduled nine-inning baseball game between Slippery Rock University and hosting Youngstown State University at Eastwood Field has been postponed and has not been rescheduled.

SRU will now turn its attention to a 1 p.m. Wednesday doubleheader at Jack Critchfield Park vs. NCAA Division II Atlantic Regional rival West Virginia Wesleyan.

The Rock currently owns a 31-13 overall record and is 12-8 and in third place in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference-Western Division competition. SRU closes out its division schedule with a four-game series this weekend with Clarion.

Clarion (11-28 overall, 6-14 PSAC-W) visits Critchfield Park for a 1 p.m. doubleheader Friday before the teams meet at 1 p.m. Saturday in Clarion.
