SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – The Slippery Rock University women's lacrosse team will host the Lax-4-Life initiative at Saturday's home game against Seton Hill.

The Lax-4-Life initiative is a Division II initiative that has taken place throughout the season at schools across the country, with the purpose of raising money and awareness about adolescent suicide.

Teams will wear official Lax-4-Life shirts and donations will be accepted throughout the game to raise money for Allyson's Fund.

Allyson's Fund was started in honor of Allyson Green, who lost her life to suicide in 2006. The Allyson Rose Green Memorial Foundation raises money and awareness to assist in the identification of adolescents at risk for suicide.
