This is the fourth in a series of journal entries that will be posted throughout the week chronicling The Rock women's lacrosse team's spring break trip to Myrtle Beach.
Tuesday, March 19th
We woke up, went to practice, came back, ate like men and took cat naps then went back to practice. Tommy forced us to do an 'ice bath' after our second practice... AKA stand in the freezing ocean for 5-10 mins.
At night we made personal pizzas with toppings ranging from pepperoni to halved cherry tomatoes. Some walked to get ice cream while some stayed and played some intense games of pool. Coach Quinn bought six boxes of sparklers which immediately were brought to the beach to hold while frolicking in the cooled night sand.
Our faces found our pillows early since we had an early morning practice. Everyone has on their excitement pants for gameday!!
We can't wait for the official start of our season!!!! #rocklax
Goodnight and happy game day eve!

Wednesday, March 20
Today we woke up to the fresh smell of game day... And breakfast. We were off to an early start for practice, on the bus by 7:45 a.m..
After light practice, we went back to do something we do best (besides play lax)..... EAT. Sitting around the kitchen, we all said who we were going to play for in the game vs. Catawba in the afternoon.
Before the game, our team, Catawba and the Clarion softball team gathered in a circle, holding hands, in memory of Kristina Quigley, the head coach at Seton Hill. It was wonderful to see opponents come together as one family.
Congrats to
Lacey Allis,
Erin Wilcox,
Jessica Johnson,
Anna-Marie Warrington and
Kaytlin Callaghan on their career first goals!!!
Rock lax arrives at Spiffy Digs with their first win under their spandex. Now it's fajita time! (¡Olè!)
Love always,
Gigi and Lacey
