ANN ARBOR, Mich. – The University of Michigan has launched its online ticket sales for the general public, groups and families for the Oct. 18 football game at Michigan Stadium between Slippery Rock University and Mercyhurst University.

The general public can purchase general admission tickets for $20, while a special family package and group rate has also been announced.

Families of four or more can purchase a package that includes a hot dog and a beverage in addition to admission for $12.50 per ticket.

All groups of 10 or more can purchase tickets for just $5 each.

All students with proper ID from Slippery Rock, Michigan and Mercyhurst will be admitted free. A final decision on student ticket distribution will be announced at a later date. Plans are currently being made at SRU to send current students to the game with free bus trips.

The Slippery Rock University alumni association is also working on putting together packages for alums that would include tickets, a commemorative t-shirt, hotel arrangements and admission to an official Rock tailgate party before the game. Alumni interested in such a package are encouraged to hold off on purchasing tickets until the alumni association finalizes those packages in the coming weeks.

Stay tuned to www.RockAthletics.com as more details are finalized in the coming weeks for The Rock's return to The Big House.
