Slippery Rock is one of the only schools in the PSAC and the Atlantic Region with chairback seats at its softball field and the coaches offices and locker rooms at the field.

Fans have the option of enjoying the chairback seats in the upper rows of the bleachers, or bringing their own lawn chairs and enjoying one of the many vantage points from above the field.

The SRU Softball Complex features sheltered dugouts for both teams and a covered batting cage for use by The Rock and visiting teams. Bullpen areas outside the field of play ensure safetly for relief pitchers and catchers during game play.

The bulding at the complex, which also houses the women's soccer locker rooms and coaching offices, is equipped with a large locker room with direct access for the softball team. The coaching offices also feed into the locker room building.

Each player's locker includes a large compartment for hanging clothes, a foot locker for shoes and cleats, and a lockable compartment for valuables. Every player also has their own padded stool.

Men's and women's restrooms and a guest waiting area complete with a flat screen television are located near the lobby of the building. All softball offices and locker areas are located on the right side of the building when entering from the front door.

Players can use the locker room facility for watching film or doing homework as the building is complete with wireless Internet access.

The complex was constructed in 2004 and also includes a large deck with a view of the field.

Directions
From I-79, take Exit 105 (Slippery Rock). Turn left at the stop sign at the end of the exit ramp and follow State Route 108 north into Slippery Rock. At the traffic light, turn right onto Main Street. Follow Main Street to the second traffic light (Keister Road). Turn left onto Keister Road and proceed to the flashing light, where you will see a main entrance to campus. At the flashing light, continue down Keister Road to the first intersection (Harmony Road). Turn left onto Harmony Road and proceed to the first road to your right (adjacent to the softball and women's soccer locker room facility). There is limited parking next to the building and by the field. For additional parking, continue up the hill by the field towards the equestrian center. There is a large parking lot to the right at the top of the hill.
